Work has continued on the remaining nearside window parts. The frame for droplight for the third bay has received its coat of chrome and the second bay window is complete and the steelwork has been treated with waxoyl to hopefully prolong its life once installed. The use of contact adhesive to hold the top seal in its aluminum tray was reasonably successful but far from perfect, so a trial with panel sealant is envisaged for the next one.
The second completed window was installed today, though the bottom horizontal remains to be screwed to the body.
As it turns out, Silicone RTV as used to seat the glass in the frames turns out to be the best way of attaching the top seal to its seat. I may refit the first two so they are all the same at some point.
