Painted with red oxide primer repaired steel window frame for N/S w7. Finished ash repair section in w7/w8 upright, may need further finishing to true it up. Sanded flat the toothpick repairs, very successful.
Arranged a source of rubber for the glazing gasket, just need to order it now.
Glued and screwed an ash repair section into window frame upright between N/S w5 and w6. Removed as many of the remaining rusted screws and nails in the exposed framework around N/S w5 and w6. Filled some oversize screw holes with hardwood toothpicks and PVA.
Ordered some grey enamel for the timber framing from Regal paints, which I thought was most appropriate and much cheaper than anyone else.
