The last few days were spent repairing the missing section of the roof over the entrance door. The repair sections have been bonded and riveted and await fixing back to the cant rail. Before I can do this, I have to install the replacement “arch” fairing panel over the entrance steps, so I spent yesterday and today making that panel by shaping it around the remains of the original panel then wiring and rolling the edge bead.

Fitted the vertical beading beading between the large and small windows in the bulkhead. All that remains now to complete the bulkhead work ready for paint is a small piece of horizontal beading adjacent to the driver’s window and the mud shield behind the front wheel. When this is done the bulkhead can be painted and the side fairing welded and refitted.
Fitted the horizontal beading over the bulkhead window today. Cut the remaining vertical from an existing piece and painted the back of it ready to fit tomorrow. Filled the rearward bulkhead lower panel with fine filler, sanded and re-primed ready for undercoating.
